Then: You probably know him better as Rory’s love interest and bad boy Jess on Gilmore Girls. Rory and Jess had electric chemistry, but he was too troubled for the relationship to work. After leaving the show, Ventimiglia continued to act, making guest appearances on TV shows and starring in movies. In 2009 he was named Sexiest Vegetarian by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. He dated Gilmore Girls co-star Alexis Bledel for 4 years and Heroes co-star Hayden Panettiere for 2 years. In 2008 he took a weeklong United Service Organization tour in support of American troops, and launched a coinciding campaign to support US veterans.
