Regular Kid

Regular Kid
Despite Kiernan's moments of maturity, wisdom, and clarity (and her very grown-up wardrobe), every so often she says something to remind us that she is only 12-years-old. She still has normal kid ambitions: “Someday, I’d like to write my own musical,” she told New York Magazine. “I think that I’d like it to have the set from Annie, combined with the era of Les Misérables, with all the music from Chicago.” But if anyone can pull this off, it's probably Kiernan. And like every other pre-teen girl, she loves Justin Bieber:
“I love him,” she squeals, her eyes lighting up with the same excitement she experienced when she came up with Burbloody. “I would love to meet him.” She bites her lip. “But I wouldn’t be allowed to date him. I can’t date until I’m 16.”

"I really like being a kid right now, I think that’s fun. When you’re an adult you can’t really knock on your friend’s door and say, Let’s go play hide and seek around the neighborhood. So I’m kind of just enjoying what I have now. I’m in no hurry to grow up."
Well, Kerinan has that right. As much as we hail her for being just another girl-next-door, it's hard to overlook the fact that this young actress counts Elisabeth Moss as one of her BFFs, or that she gets profiled in the Times for her awesome clothes, and it's not every kid that gets her own Funny or Die video (watch it HERE!)
