The Paris Haute Couture 2011 shows kicked off this week with designs by some of the world's most renowned fashion icons. Givenchy, Armani, Christian Dior and more all debuted their Autumn/Winter collections. As always, the fashions were shocking, wacky and innovative. Here's a look at a few of this week's most unique styles so far.
Christian Dior
Despite the obvious absence of long time head designer John Galliano, the Christian Dior Autumn Collection exuded optimism with its brave pastel colors and jazzy patterns.

Armani Prive
The 2011 Armani Prive collection paid homage to the tragic events that took place in Japan this year, by featuring kimonos, obi belts and a gorgeous arrangement of cherry blossoms, roses and chrysanthemums.
Givenchy
Givenchy's 2011 autumn collection by Ricardo Tisci is called "Purity" and features light, fragile fabrics and detailed crystal work. A little bit of booty doesn't hurt either.
