Alber Elbaz
1. Alber Elbaz celebrates 10 years at Lanvin. 2012 marks Alber's 10 year anniversary as artistic director at Lanvin in Paris. Alber is largely known for his affinity towards simple, feminine clothing. Featured in Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People in the World in 2007, Here are some things Alber is known for:
1. Introducing Lanvin to a new packaging that features a "forget-me-not" blue.
2. He also produced shopping bags, for Lanvin, imprinted with Paul Iribe's 1907 illustration of Lanvin and her daughter Marguerite. He also designed the shoe boxes like antique library files, tied with black ribbons.
3. Elbaz illustrated the song cover of Mika's, "Lady Jane."
This year he is releasing a book about the creative process at Lanvin, featuring previous Lanvin collections, with some helpful tips on how to achieve success.
