9. 2012 CFDA Awards to be broadcast for the first time. The Met Gala began the trend of live-streaming fashion and now the 2012 CFDA Awards will be streamed June 5th (the day after) on Style.com. The site will of course be live-tweeting the event with Tim Blanks covering the red carpet, featuring web exclusives and interviews. Steven Kolb, CEO of the CFDA, thinks this will be a great opportunity to extend beyond just fashion enthusiasts. [Fashionindie]
