4. YouTube is planning to launch a fashion channel called "Hello Style" on April 15, featuring high-quality content from Hearst's publications. Youtube paid Hearst $10 million to launch beauty and fashion TV shows with content from Harper's Bazaar, Seventeen, Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire. Reportedly, Google-owned Youtube has set $100 million aside to encourage media companies to produce more high-quality content and thus attract more advertisers to their platform than through the usual amateur, user-content.
