Hillary Clinton Embraces 'Au Naturale'
6. Hillary Clinton appeared at a news conference in Dhaka, Bangladesh embracing her natural beauty by wearing no make up except lipstick, and her thick framed glasses. She was there on business trying to promote democracy abroad. Although she was not sporting her famous scrunchie, the Secretary of State does not care what people think of her fashion decisions.
She addressed the comments with the statement:
"I feel so relieved to be at the stage I'm at in my life right now," the secretary of state told CNN Foreign Affairs Correspondent Jill Dougherty in an interview. "Because you know if I want to wear my glasses, I'm wearing my glasses. If I want to wear my hair back, I'm pulling my hair back. You know at some point it's just not something that deserves a lot of time and attention." [CNN]
