Make Fashion Not War: Chanel's Feminist Protest Fashion Show
When Karl Lagerfeld turned Chanel's Spring/Summer runway show into one big fashion protest, the world took notice. Top models including Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner, and Gisele Bundchen shouted down the runway holding signs that read phrases like "Make Fashion Not War," "Ladies First," "History Is Her Story," and "He For She" (the campaign Emma Watson discussed at the UN, landing her much praise). Of course, the show stirred up quite a lot of discussion.
