The Retreat threw its 16th Annual Artists Against Abuse Benefit Gala at the Ross School Lower Campus Field House on Saturday. The Retreat is the only domestic violence agency on the East End of Long Island that provides both residential and non-residential comprehensive services, free of charge, to women and children in need. Recipients of the Hope Award were Mariska Hargitay and New York State Senator Kenneth P. LaValle for their passion and dedication to the victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. George Stephanopoulos and Alexandra Wentworth hosted the event and Gina Glickman Giordan was the Mistress of Ceremonies. Other attendees included Debra Messing, Ramona and Mario Singer and Countess LuAnn de Lesseps. The after party was held at Georgica in East Hampton with music by DJ Price.
