Festive Fashion Has No Age At Montauk's Harbor Lights Gala

This past Saturday, The Montauk Playhouse Community Center Foundation celebrated Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Edward Albee at the 2010 Harbor Lights Gala. With a "festive" dress code, guests showed us that while trends may not be timeless, they sure are ageless.

The event was a success as guests socialized alongside the gorgeous water views and watched the sunset while eating oysters and drinking champagne. A resident of Montauk, Edward Albee has been involved in the planning and development of the Montauk Playhouse. In addition, Dick Cavett was the emcee, actors from the Hamptons Shakespeare Festival performed various small acts, and the Dennis Reffelock Quartet played live music throughout the night - it was a very entertainment filled night.

According to the Montauk Playhouse website the dress code for the evening was "festive," meaning no need for tuxes and ball gowns. However, we wonder if some of the older guests took "festive" as a means to follow the style statements of some of our favorite fashionable celebrities...

This attendee shows us that Paris Hilton can definitely still rock those white Ray Bans pass the age of 30.

This woman shows us that young and old, the color yellow is an ultimate style statement – watch out Victoria Beckham.

Plaid shirts can go from Justin Bieber’s ripe age of 16 to 61!

And lastly, black knee high socks with shorts….who wore it best??
