Paula Froelich, author of her new book , Mercury in Retrograde, and Deputy Editor of Page Six hosted a book release party this past Friday. The private party was held at Georgica Restaurant & Lounge in East Hampton, NY. DJ Nick Cohen spun all evening, while head chefs Robert Hesse and Seth Levine kept party guests happy with an endless supply of hors d'oeuvres. The private party was kept very intimate as we were able to have a brief chat with the very friendly and funny Froelich. Mercury In Retrograde is about three prominent Manhattanite women who are brought together by a series of unfortunate events. The book is littered with real anecdotes about celebrities and NYC socials, however the real names have been changed. Rumors have it that Froelich is already working on a sequel to Mercury in Retrograde, titled Mercury Rising, and we cannot wait.
An open bar, Froelich, and Georgica made the evening unforgettable. As a matter of fact, the hors d'oeuvres teased us so much they left us wanting more. The GofG girls went back for dinner on Monday night to get the full Georgica experience, and as Carson put it, we left the restaurant with a "Love affair with Georgica food and the staff." Stay tuned for a full recap of our experience...
