With over 500 guests, the Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic’s (PPHP) Heat Wave benefit happened last Sunday at the Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club and it was definitely one of the biggest events this season. Furthermore, the event was co-chaired by Michael Halsband, Nancy Hessel Weber and Susan Lenoir, and Junior Committee co-chairs Rebecca and Todd Cohen, Stephanie Paine, and Tripoli Patterson.
Over 100 designers and artists offered their works, including DanniJo jewelry, Mara Hoffman, Charlotte Ronson, Tori Praver, Basta Surf, Bantu, Gypset, Mary Heilman, Bill Komoski, April Gornik, Peter Dayton, Shelter Serra, Lillian Bassman, and Michael Halsband.
Junior Chair Rebecca Cohen said, "We are reaching out to a younger crowd, because ultimately Planned Parenthood is something that affects young people. With the government cutting spending, we need to make people aware, and help in anyway we can."
