See You This Thursday At Southampton Art Center's SummerFest After Dark?!

This Thursday evening, I have the pleasure of co-hosting the Southhampton Art Center SummerFest After Dark Party alongside Andrew Warren, Makenzie Moon Phelan, and Danielle Neftali and I would love for you to join us. But before I tell you about all of the fabulous things we have in store (for what I can humbly brag will be the best end of summer blowout you'll attend this weekend), I want to fill you in on a little about the Southampton Art Center.

To start, the Greco-Roman style building dates back to 1897, which I think we can all agree is pretty cool. A hub for art and culture in Southampton Village, the center offers inspiring, inclusive and regionally relevant year-round programing to the community, including weekly concerts, workshops and family events. 

Curious what's currently on view in the galleries? First there's 'Figures Transformed,' featuring works by Deborah Buck, Hal Buckner, and Strong-Cuevas. This exhibition focuses on how these stylistically different artists all use the figure as the central theme of their work. Second, there's 'Celebration of Trees,' a multimedia and sensory show. This exhibition prompts viewers to consider the deep social issues surrounding deforestation and climate change.

So now you know what you’re supporting... let’s talk party! 

Every fabulous soiree needs equally fabulous sponsors. Thankfully Bulgari and Lalique have totally checked that box. Geo Events will transform the space for the evening supported by NY Lounge Decor and PS Balloon. Some of the most delicious names around will be serving up food, including 21 Seeds, Whispering Angel, a sushi bar by Ichiban Japanese Catering, a gelato and pizza truck from Dolce and Gelato Catering, a doughnut station by Sundae Donuts, Cotton Candy and Popcorn by Puff Delights, gem-inspired desserts by Rayo Events, Caviar from Pearl Street and Baked by Melissa cupcakes.
