Guests mingled about the newly re-launched hotel including the film's director Louie Psihoyos, Nick Leighton, and the hotel's new owner Jenny Ljungberg who has been busy with the re-launch of the hotel while simultaneously blogging about it. Is it possible The Maidstone is the first Hampton's hotel with its' own blog?!

The film, described as part environmental documentary, part horror film, and part spy thriller, documents a small group of activists as they uncover secrets behind crucial events poisoning our seas and has and recently picked up the 2009 Sundance Film Festival Audience Award for best documentary.
