Finally taking place this Saturdya, highlights at this year's gala include a musical performance by Real Housewives of New York City star Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, a dance performance by So You Think You Can Dance season five winner Jeanine Mason, and live music by Around Town.

Approximately 250 supporters are expected to attend the gala, including co-chairs Haley & Jason Binn, Anne Hearst & Jay McInerney, Johan de Nysschen, Tatiana & Campion Platt, Alina & Anthony Shriver, and Lydia & Rudy Touzet. Other notable committee members include Debra Halpert, Amanda Hearst, Sonja Morgan, Susan Shin, Emma Snowdon-Jones, Samantha Marcus Yanks, and more.

Founded in 1989 by Anthony K. Shriver, Best Buddies is a vibrant organization that has grown from one original chapter to more than 1,500 middle school, high school, and college chapters worldwide. Today, Best Buddies seven formal programs engage participants in 46 countries, positively impacting the lives of 700,000 people with and without disabilities, as well as their respective network of family, friends, and employers. As a result of their involvement with Best Buddies, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities secure rewarding jobs, live on their own, become inspirational leaders, and make lifelong friendships.
