This preserve has 12 miles of coastline and acres of creeks, woodlands and fields. Going to the Mashomack Preserve is a nice way to spend a quiet and peaceful day with dad and nature. The preserve harbors nesting populations of endangered species and rare plants, and is an amazing place to go hiking or walking with dad. It is located on Shelter Island, which is a beautiful island to visit.
