Don't get it twisted - coronavirus is still spreading in the Hamptons, but we suppose that the last weekend of summer wasn't going to go down without a celebration, pandemic or not. If the party must go on, though, there seems to be no better host for a safety-cautious affair than guy-about-the-East-End, Andrew Warren.
Earlier this summer, the fashion designer spoke to us about his July 4th bash, which called for a tight guest list, prior testing, temperature-taking, and mask-wearing (for the most part). This past weekend, he applied the same protocols to his Labor Day bash, attended by close friends including EJ Johnson, Avery Singer, Ally Shapiro, and Timo Weiland.
Guests' temperatures were taken upon arrival and were treated to a selection of Revmark face shields and Masks by Jill & Ally before imbibing on specialty drinks from Los Sundays Tequila, BLANK Vodka, and BABE Wine. A candlelit hibachi dinner catered by Ace Catering followed, and with wellness ever at the forefront of everyone's mind, the evening also incorporated sips from BrightFox (to prevent hangovers) and CBD from oHHo (to, obviously, stay chill). 'Twas all topped off with boozy donuts and ice cream from Sundae Donuts Montauk Sweets Shop and some take-home Morning Recovery shots from More Labs.
