Clothes Make The Photographer

You have to appreciate it when the man behind the camera looks as good as the people he's shooting in front of it. That, apparently, is exactly Patrick McMullan's motto, because once again he's pulled together an outfit that has people clamoring to take his photo, and not the other way around. While many people decided to play it safe with a more traditional all white route at the Accompanied Literary Society event last Saturday at the Montauk Yacht Club, the legendary New York society photog reached into his bag of tricks and wowed us with this colorful tie (we're guessing Italian silk, but we'd love to nail down an exact name brand on that sucker). Paired with an all white shirt and jacket combo, he coordinated the look with some dark trousers, making sure to stand out in the crowd. All the better to find the man in the center of all the action. Or with the camera. Patrick, I'm ready for my close-up! We know you are.
