The unique sound combing hearty blues and soulful hip-hop has been defined by the word "ragmop." G. Love is perhaps the most well-recognized artist in this obscure genre, using the guitar, harmonica, and vocals to capture the audience. In 1999 G. Love featured Jack Johnson on his Philadelphonic album, and since then he has produced 5 additional albums, as well as solo releases. He is the frontman for his band, which is officially called G. Love and Special Sauce.
