Details: Juice enthusiasts and supporters of the Wellness Foundation gathered at the lovely home of the foundation's President and Founder, Douglas Mercer. This year's event honored Joe Cross, the star of the award winning documentary "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" and founder of Reboot with Joe, as the 2013 Illumination Award recipient.
Mercer acknowledged Joe Cross for taking charge of his "health destiny." The foundation's goal was to make East Hampton the healthiest town in the United States and since it's start, it has grown and spread throughout the eastern end of Long Island, surpassing Douglas Mercer's original mission.
