The Heart of the Hamptons Ball returned for its 17th year to honor James Taylor, MD, Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Stony Brook Hospital. The event hosted a series of Hamptons celebrities and household names including, Eric F. Trump, Rosanna Scotto, and Star Jones. The evening included delicious heart healthy food, local wines, a silent auction, and live music by That 70s Band. Guest speakers, including this year's "Heart Hero," Caroline Loeb, who spoke about the importance of the American Heart Association, specifically the lifesaving research and the educational awareness.
