You Should Know: Jayma Cardoso
What's a feisty Brazlian looker like Jayma Cardoso doing out in Montauk? Just running a little old place called The Surf Lodge. Maybe you've heard of it. Maybe you've been. The chances of the former far far outweighing the latter (no offense..). Probably the most serious and devoted business person in the Hamptons, there's no idea too big for Jayma to tackle. From top tier concert headliners to parties fit for fashion's biggest maisons, pop-up shops and more.

5 Favorite Hamptons Places:
Ditch Planes - my local beach.
Dave's Grill - order the chocolate box, you'll thank me.
Farmers Market in MTK - I love fresh produce
Sunset - anywhere, make a point to stop for it.
My home - I open the windows and enjoy the sounds and fragrances of nature around my place.
The craziest thing I've done out East is... Skateboarding down the hill on Montauk highway from the lighthouse at Midnight with a big group of friends.
Best kept Hamptons secret? The week. I feel most people miss out on how wonderful the week is out here; the beach is emptier, your juice or coffee shop doesn't require standing in line, strolling through town to peruse shops is easier and people are just calmer. So play hooky or work remotely and start or extend your weekend into the week... Who knew Monday's could be so great.
If you had one day left out East, what would you do? Yoga in the morning, ride my bike to the beach and spend the entire day there, enjoy ice cream in town, have friends over for a BBQ, count stars on my deck.
Who should we know? The people behind the counter at your ice cream shop, the wait staff at your favorite restaurant... Really, all the people that you come in contact with on a regular basis who share the wonders of the Hamptons with you via their services and goods. The hamlets are at their best when they are a small village, which they are.. So know the peeps that make your hamlet so special.
