I guess the Brits were watching the impressive performances at the Grammy's last month and decided to really up their game for their own music award ceremony, The Brit Awards. Let's just say, Lily Allen flew in on a rocket, Cheryl Cole did some kind of crazy orgiastic dance, Jay-Z and Alicia Keys did New York proud with their performance of "Empire State Of Mind", and Gaga outdid herself, again.-
The Lady Gaga made a clean sweep of the awards, taking home best Female Solo Artist, International Album, and International Breakthrough Act. She dedicated her performance to Alexander McQueen, and would have definitely made the British designer proud with her costume and Marie Antoinette-esque wig.
One downside? Prince Harry was unable to attend the ceremony. But don't worry! He was there both in spirit and in the form of a pre-recorded video message, broadcast on a MASSIVE screen, the most hilariously outlandish symbol of the British Monarchy we've seen in a long time.
Long live the Queen, and long live Gaga!
