Though it's tempting, you actually don't have to go to every show and party that you receive an invite to. Take all your invites and map out a game plan before fashion week begins. Organize it by the shows you really want to go to, the shows you have to go to, and the ones that you can do without. Try not to do more than two shows back to back, giving yourself time to rest in between. If certain shows are mandatory for work, consider hiring an intern for fashion week that would be more than happy to attend and cover the shows that you can't make it to, thus giving yourself plenty of time to get ready for the can't-miss parties in the evening.
