What are your favourite trends of 2012 so far?
Seventies glam, lots of orange, and the high-waisted pencil skirts coming back. Very ladylike, very Tippi Hedren.
Which Londoner's do you think have great style?
Kiera Knightley, Rosie Huntingdon-Whiteley, Victoria Beckham.
How would you describe London fashion?
Fairly laid-back, less bright than LA but very cool, eclectic.
What's your staple 'London look'?
Skinny leather trousers, suede stiletto ankle boots and a sheepskin coat to keep warm.
What's your favourite 'London look' on a guy?
The slightly dapper look, when it's still manly. So Brogues, a button-up shirt and cable-knit cardigan, worn with scruffy blokey jeans.
Where are your favourite places in London to shop?
Browns - they have so many new designers and the buyers are ace, and Selfridges, it's so beautiful everywhere you look. I stock up on Topshop when I'm back too.
Where are your favourite places to eat?
Scott's, such a lovely atmosphere, and Julie's in Notting Hill, it's a hidden romantic oasis.
Where are your favourite places to party in London?
I don't usually make it past the pub anymore! I do love hotel bars for cocktails - the Langham and Blakes are gorgeous.

What London events/parties are you most looking forward to this year?
I'll be back filming Plain Jane from April to August, so plenty! The Serpentine summer party is always fun, fashion week, and some Olympics parties I’m sure.
New Year Mantra?
Well I’m on day 2 of a detox so I'm trying to be more healthy. I've taken up yoga again, and I've got to stop being late...
