The Rooms

Since this is a high-end hotel, the room "themes" hardly reach kitsch status. Instead, tasteful elements of decor and design embody the showbiz atmosphere. My room, categorized as one of the "backstage" options, was spacious and chic, with some fun thrown in. There was a dressing room-style mirror encircled by bulbs, while the bed hung from ropes and spotlights. Vintage details, from an old school phone to vaudeville performer portraits, only added to the glamour. The best part, though, was the balcony overlooking the square and offering sweeping views of the colorful London skyline. I went to bed looking at the London Eye every night.
