Library exhibit consists of almost 500 cut-out figures in a 17-volume book set,
Library of Photography, published in 1970 - 1972 by Time-Life Books. Using collage and sculpture techniques, about 500 images are assembled to showcase 40 years of American picture taking. Will photography be taken over by digital media and imaging? Perhaps. But Lipps captures the beauty of photography outside of the frames and leaves you to answer those questions at the opening of his exhibit this Saturday.
