R.B. Kitaj
The late R.B. Kitaj has his first solo show since 2008 opening today at L.A. Louver. Kitaj's exhibit includes about 30 paintings and drawings from between 1992 - 2007. His work is influenced by absorbing himself in literature as well as bringing in his life experiences. Five pieces of his
Los Angeles series at the exhibit depict amorous and sensual scenes with his late wife, Sandra Fisher.
