Speaking of the parking lot, it seems that festival-goers spent an inordinate amount of time standing in lines around and outside of the Auditorium, largely due to a Patriot Act search policy that was likely designed to minimize the chances of an Electric Daisy Carnival-style underage overdose. The crowd was searched head to toe, including shoe removal. Whatever happened to the days where hiding a joint in your shoe to go to a concert was considered an unspoken agreement between you and the concert promoter?
