Despite looking like an American Studies grad student at the New School (and he really was a film professor!), Sam Beam (aka Iron & Wine) writes and performs earnest, melodic, heartbreaking music that you'd have to be a real Grinch to hate on. Also, there's probably enough food in his beard to allow him to survive for days in the wild. That's what you call multi-talented.
