Katy Perry Although the first 19 editions of Sir Elton's legendary viewing party have been held at the Pacific Design Center, he decided to move it across the street this year, to West Hollywood Park. As a result, this was the biggest and most lavish event to date, featuring a five-course meal cooked by American Iron Chef Cat Cora, a prize-packed auction that raised $5.25 million for the Elton John AIDS Foundation, and live music from Foster The People. And best of all, everyone in attendance got to drink the whole time, which I'm sure was a big help in dealing with Billy Crystal's hacky, painfully unfunny "what are A-Listers in the audience thinking?" routine.
