"Best $2k I Ever Spent" PBR Pride At The Chief + Grouplove Show

Monday night, L.A.-based indie rock bands on the rise, Grouplove and Chief, performed at Silver Lake area venue, the Bootleg Theater.  Both groups have had a busy summer of shows, local and out-of-state, most recently at Sunset Junction for Chief.  Apart from the scraggly-haired, vintage-wearing youngens who comprise the audience, another staple of the bands' shows, or any Silver Lake-esque show for that matter, seems to be the ever-kitschy hipster drink of choice: dirt-cheap Pabst Blue Ribbon. The poor man's brew was swilled and sipped by all, er, all in-the-know who flaunted their PBR love with pride...

Apparently these guys didn't get the memo...
