If you hear a story in the next few days about Selena Gomez beating a girl from suburban Virginia into the hospital, it's probably Cady Eimer, the high school student who started an unsuccessful campaign to ask Justin Bieber to her prom, only to have Bieber counteroffer at prom to fly her and her sister to the Billboard Awards (video above), where she served as the Biebs' date. We could be cynical about this, but I think it's quite nice, and it reinvigorates my hope that maybe someday Al Roker will see all my fan videos and be my date to dollar taco night at Don Antonio's. I LOVE YOU AL!!!!
