Producer/hypeman J Sw!ft, who produced Bizarre Ride, was born in Spain to a musical family (his father was the bandleader of a touring Afro-Cuban ensemble), and composed some absolute hits before falling victim to drug addiction and homelessness. Hopefully his return to the stage with The Pharcyde paves the way for his immense talent to shine yet again.
