Clippers Fan: Billy Crystal
To be honest, it's not like Billy Crystal's done anything in the last 10-15 years that people care about, is it? Oooh, he "saved" the Oscars from big bad Brett Ratner (note: if you didn't think Brett Ratner was capable of an insensitive homophobic remark, you've clearly never seen any of his movies or heard a single story about him), hooray! Wake me up when City Slickers III comes out.
But where Billy does still deserve credit is for being the original Clippers superfan, one of the few whose love for the team, independent of their year-to-year performance, is unimpeachable. So stick with it, Billy, even though the Clippers may be nearing the end of their run this year, the future is bright (y'know, as long as Blake and Chris Paul don't both walk at the end of next year, which could technically happen). And maybe take a cue from the Albert Brooks playbook and play a villain or something. Just a thought.
