Not every good band has to rock. In fact, in an era where electronic favorites rule the charts, it's refreshing enough when an electronically-inspired band like The Xx chooses not to take the easy way out and just "press play" on stage. And with last night's show at The Fonda, where they unleashed a fully live set of their unique brand of slow, sexy, space age jams, it's clear why they make that extra effort.
