Besides, while it's easy to think that there's some kind of stigma associated with being a band that once sold out arenas and now plays a racetrack, you could convincingly counter-argue that nothing would appeal to Devo more. This is, after all, the same band that built their entire following on being the "punks" that, rather than embracing the loud, violent trappings of punk culture, preferred to subvert society from within with an always weird, incredibly clever conceptual vibe that's all the more delightful because you can't figure out exactly why it makes you uncomfortable. Which is kind of like trying to eat clam chowder at the Hollywood Park racetrack. I'm telling you, it's perfect.
