Kurt Vonnegut
In addition to late writer Kurt Vonnegut's three children, Mark, Edith and Nanette, with first wife Jane Marie Cox, he also adopted his sister's three children (so technically his nephews), James, Steven and Kurt, after she lost her battle with cancer. Later he and second wife Jill Kementz adopted a baby girl, Lily, in 1982.
