New Order
Why We're Excited To See Them: Sprung out of tragedy, Ian Curtis (R.I.P) left his band members of Joy Division to continue on without their poetic lead singer and onto new things, thus the formation of New Order. With its combination of New Wave and electronic music, the band became one of the most influential in the 1980s. Fast-forward to October 2012 and New Order is back on the map after seven years with not a single North American performance, and are set to bring their reunion to the Coachella Day 2 stage. The chance to see songs like "Age of Consent," "Ceremony," and "Blue Monday" played at practically every dance party performed live by the band is not one we'd ever thought possible and would be a shame to miss. Get there! [Via]
