On Friday, the electro/house duo L.A. Riots had a show at Control, Avalon's weekly club event and afterhours, in Hollywood. Composed of Daniel LeDisko (that can't be his real last name, can it?) and Jon Pegnato, originally from North Carolina, the L.A. Riots formed here in the city of angels back in 2007 and have since made a steady name for themselves in the club music world. Claiming to have "branded dance music with a bawdy blend of indie electro," the boys are currently on tour to spread their sound to all the hungry club children across the country. After touring with the likes of MSTRKRFT and The Crystal Method, Friday night brought the L.A. Riots back to their roots to one of the very venues they first started playing. Their hometown fans definitely showed them some love during their show with alcohol-induced fist pumping, grinding, and some girl-on-girl action. Thankfully, TheNightLenz was there to capture it all. Everyone loves a homecoming.
