Breaking The No Photo Rule At William Rast For Target Launch

by YOLANDA EVANS · December 14, 2010

Over the weekend, Target along with Justin Timberlake and his partner Trace Ayala celebrated the launch of William Rast for Target Collection with a special private shopping party at The Factory Place.

Seeing that this party was held in no-man’s land better known in the grimy warehouse district, loads of partygoers along with a number of celebs including Rachel Bilson, Malin Akerman, Anna Farris, Joy Bryant, Minka Kelly, Chord Overstreet, Armie Hammer, Ryan Kwanten, and Darren Criss mosey on down to the party. The warehouse was all gussied up to play into the theme of the collection, “Bike Bohemia Rebelliously Priced”, with everything from the DJ booth to the dressing rooms made out of big wooden shipping boxes with words like Truth, Redemption, and Found emblazoned across the front. Profound stuff.

The collection was pretty much hit or miss, mostly made up of printed tees, vests, jeans, and leather jackets and some an 80s inspired fringe. But who could shop when most of the guests were breaking their necks to get a shot of JT and crew with their camera phones as he partied in the VIP section surrounded by big burly security guards. Even though invite to the media it said no photography and everyone with a camera got grilled in by the PR girls on their way in, all we saw were camera flashes once inside. So much for a no photo rule...
