Most importantly, it was clear from the beginning that the affection between all involved was beyond genuine. The making of "Pete & Pete," to hear McRobb and Viscardi talk about it, was the kind of "series of fortunate breaks" stories where the beloved show could have derailed in so many different places, only to luckily find themselves producing three seasons and five specials, which will now live on indefinitely in the minds of everyone who grew up with them.
