Creativity, and style and music filled The Santa Monica Civic Auditorium last week for the opening of the Class Trade Show.

As if shopping for a living wasn't already a fun way to do business, the Class Trade Show made fashion buyers love their lives a little bit more. Filter Magazine, Original Penguin, and Merchant Factors teamed up to sponsor the trade show, which gives the talent of the fashion world the opportunity to showcase their latest projects. Think of Class as a matchmaker throwing a mean mixer for fashion brands and retail buyers all over the world to make love connections.

Buyers browsed the fashion hive while enjoying an open bar, guest DJs, and even a live performance from rock/soul group, Delta Spirit. The band has toured with the likes of Cold War Kids, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and Dr. Dog, and delivered a set of indie soul rock to satisfy all in attendance.

Hopefully the stores of Los Angeles made good use of the tradeshow to stock up on some new duds so we can all look fresh for fall.
