Slide #1

Following the sensationally provocative opening reception for his solo show "Rehming Out LA" in October which featured the scantily-clad Suicide Girls posing in the windows, New York's Eddie Rehm was busy "Rehming out" the LA Art Show's opening night. On display within The Gloria Delson Contemporary Arts booth was his "I can’t C the First Letter of Clarity, See” exhibit which once again demonstrated the artist’s uncanny talent for creating vivid and emotional pieces. Rehm explains the inspiration behind the works as “moments in a person’s life that will forever change the way they perceive the world and themselves in it,” and “the startling realization of emotional and feelings that seem only to be accompanied by pain or loss.” The result is a series of raw, expressive works composed of vibrant colors and words for images with an unmistakable dynamism echoing what Rehm describes as a “reevaluation or introverted soul trip that has one not being able to see the first letter of clarity ‘C.’” A mix of artists, art lovers and L.A. influencers who flocked to Rehm's collection at last night's opening enjoyed cocktails as they delved into the artist's abstract world. Check out “I can’t C the First Letter of Clarity, See" for yourself during the LA Art Show. The Gloria Delson Contemporary Arts booth is open to the public from Thursday, January 16th through Saturday, January 18th from 11am to 7pm and Sunday, January 19th from 11am to 7pm.
