Everyone and their mom came out for a first look at the newly reopened Santa Monica Place this weekend after a long two-year renovation. No, really -- the Amber Alert signs on the 10 Freeway were flashing messages that the mall's parking structures were full. With the shopping center's opening of course came the debut celebrations of each of its many stores.
Not to be outdone by soirees at the new Michael Kors and Betsey Johnson, Juicy Couture celebrated its newest outpost with some star power in the form of one of fashion's hottest young talents, Erin Fetherston. The style maven was recently tapped as the guest designer (Juicy Couture by Erin Fetherston launches Holiday 2010) and creative consultant for the popular brand. Party guests were greeted by Fetherston and her Juicy Boys, and treated to signed limited edition sketches of designs from her collection. Per the natural formula for every L.A. event, tunes were provided by a DJ and there were probably cupcakes involved.
