Freak City Helps Salvage Some HARD

Sad that HARD LA got canceled?? Didn't make it to Destructo's "make-up" show at the El Rey on Saturday?? Luckily, for many fans Freak City was able to serve as an alternate venue for getting your HARD on (get it?).

On the mic, turntables, and whatever other form of lyrical/musical entertainment NinjaSonik, and Theophilus London could provide, these fine DJ's from HARD kept ragers rocking. Taking over the store, usually set up for shoppers on the hunt for fashionable finds, the eclectic crowd successfully outfitted themselves in their own rave-chic gear, consisting of tutus, multiple fedoras, and cut off shirts.  Like a house party taken to the next level, impromptu dance floors were set up within the store, in stairwells, balconies, and even the "Go Party" stage. We applaud Freak City L.A, for their "secret party" Saturday night, letting those who felt gypped by last minute kibosh on HARD another chance be free to get down.
