Getting Nostalgic At Wasteland + MinkPink's Wasted Daze 90s BBQ

This weekend was a scorcher, so it was a good thing the Wasted Daze 90s BBQ had plenty of boozy cold drinks to go around throughout the day and inflatable kiddie pools in which to splash at the Astroturf backyard party-style event held at the new Wasteland headquarters in Hollywood. The hip L.A.-based retailer partnered up with Australian fashion brand MinkPink and L.A. culture mag LA Canvas to bring us a full afternoon of throwback fun that made us really nostalgic for the good ol' days of "Clarissa Explains It All" and TLC. Some who turned out may not have actually been kids raised in the 90s, but all certainly showed immense appreciation for the Clinton era, sporting a myriad of floral prints, Dr. Martens, and ripped jeans. Wasted Daze's activities included manicures by Kleur, DIY tie-dying, food from Burger Station, plus a killer garage band-esque set from Sandy Pussy. Sandy Pussy
