Hot Norwegians Invade Robertson

On Monday, L.A. had an influx of beautiful blonds, both male and female, as the pretty people of Norway invaded the colorful -- and we mean colorful -- Moods of Norway to not only celebrate Norwegian National Day, but also the one-year anniversary of its U.S flagship store on Robertson.

The zany owners, Peder Børresen, Simen Staalnacke, and Stefan Dahlkvist, who were all decked out in matching pink plaid suits, arrived to the store in style on a blue tractor instead of their signature blue limo. Fans of the line including Matt Sorrum, Natasha Alam, Billy Morrison, Adriana Costa, Lex Larson of Dr. Hollywood, Audrey Kitching and Donovan Leich mingled with the fashionable cool kids and a bevy pretty, young Norwegians sipping on glasses of ever-flowing champagne while dancing the night away to the dope tunes of DJ Rockwell.

Guests got to try out traditional Norwegian food courtesy of The Flying Culinary Circus, a group of Chefs from Norway who were in town filming for their reality show. Yummy waffles served by a matronly grandma, who chided one guest who come back for seconds too soon after their first helping.

There was even a rumor that famed 80’s group, A-Ha was in the house, but we saw neither hide nor hair of them. That would have been the frosting on the cake for this party. Not like it needed any help, as the Norwegians sure do know how to throw a party.

When the event ended, most of the party-goers rolled up to the after party at the Sky Bar where they kept it going to the break of dawn. Now those are my type of people.
