Slide #7
The latest in her long history of designer collaborations, Tuesday night celebrated the debut of the Hervé Léger by Max Azria Barbie. Known for its signature bandage dresses that are both famously body-conscious while being super flattering on the female figure, Herve Leger's leggy muse gets not one, but two designed just for her, plus stylish accessories. But what makes this collaboration even sweeter is both of Barbie's looks, a red bandage number as well as a black and white jacquard mini-dress, come in real people sizes.

At Tuesday night's launch party where absolutely no one was too old to play with dolls, guests sipped on flutes of champagne, nibbled on sweet macaroons in every color of the rainbow and scoped out Barbie's newest looks. Hervé Léger CCO Lubov Azria took the floor with Barbie designer Robert Best and spoke to the crowd of L.A. tastemakers, fashion bloggers and Hervé Léger devotees about the brand's exciting Barbie collaboration. It was a careful year-and-a-half process she personally oversaw every step of to ensure the dresses, made from authentic Hervé Léger material in the same factory as the popular collection, reflected Barbie's iconic style. The final product of sexy, glamorous designer frocks and accessories coveted by stylish women around the world certainly fits Barbie's legendary fashion and upholds her legacy as a timeless "It" girl with an enviable wardrobe. But thanks to Hervé Léger, now two of her hottest outfits can be yours.
