Ever since seeing Cher's virtual outfit chooser and remote-controlled closet, the marriage of fashion and technology has made so much sense to us. Last night, we saw that harmonious union at its finest at Satine and Lyst's celebration of Fashion's Night Out.
Masses of decked out Angelenos took to the streets as stores stayed open late last night in the name of fashion for countless celebrations of the industry that keeps the world looking chic. At Satine, the high-end W. 3rd Street boutique teamed up with Cobra Society and Lyst, a new social networking platform that connects you with your favorite designers and stylists to create your own personal fashion mag, for a night of Voli cocktails, shopping, music and dancing. While fawning over Satine's array of designer clothes, guests could also experience the addictive fashion browsing and musing of Lyst at the many iPad terminals stationed inside the store. The night also held some sweet prizes from Satine's shelves and racks for guests who entered the Lyst online styling contest.
Based on the crowd of stylish individuals who packed the boutique through the night, it's clear Satine and Lyst's joint celebration was a runaway success in giving guests the best that FNO has to offer and proving once more that the tech world is the yin to the fashion world's yang.
